Non-stick Teflon Heat Seal Tape
Teflon heat seal tape is normally cut into narrow width like 1/2", 3/4", 1-1/2", 2" in order to fit the heating wire of sealers, this tape is also called Teflon adhesive tape which is using Teflon fabric as basic material, etching one side and apply silicone adhesive on it. This Teflon tape can resist high temperature reach to 500℉(260℃) and provide optimal release feature. The most important is that, backing silicone glue will not residual on the machine, the tape will protect poly bag and shrink wrap equipment.
How to use the Teflon tape for an Impulse heat sealer?
Teflon heat seal tape is used as a covering sheet on heat seal jaws to prevent plastic films from sticking to the sealer and also used to cover the silicone elastomer on the opposing jaw. When you install the Teflon adhesive tape, make sure them past the heating element on both ends to prevent heat element from direct contract with the sealer's body. Set the sealer's temperature range according to below instruction, put the poly bag on the heating area, press the sealer. Our 3mil is the most suitable type for heat sealing because it is thin and allow heat flow faster through the tape and into the plastic film.
