PTFE Conveyor Belts, Durable and high heat resistant.
PTFE conveyor belts are kind of high temperature conveyor belt alternative to common stainless steel mesh belts and polyester belts. The belt is 100% nonstick, high temperature resistant up to 260 ℃, chemical resistant and high tensile strength.
Difference between stainless steel belt and Teflon coated conveyor belt
Compare with stainless steel belt, PTFE conveyor belt is softer and more flexible. For example in glassware industry, the common conveyor belt used is in stainless steel material, some part of the stainless steel belt may broken after sometime running, then the broken part will scratch the glassware and increase the defective rate, PTFE conveyor belts are made of high quality fiberglass fabric coated with PTFE, the material will not scratch glass. On the other hand, PTFE conveyor belts are UV resistant can be used in UV drying and curing machine.
Difference between polyester belts and Teflon belt
Normally polyester belt can resist high temperature up to 120 ℃, while Teflon conveyor belt withstand temperature up to 260 ℃ and is lighter and easier to install.
Deviation adjustment of PTFE Conveyor Belts
1.If the mesh belt deviation is in small range, install an anti-meandering equipment for the belt.
2.If running direction of the Teflon mesh belt is not stable, it means the mesh belt is too loose, then need to adjust the tensioning device.
3.If the mesh belt keeps run sideways, install several vertical rollers to reset the belt
Main Applications of PTFE conveyor belts
Food industry for food baking, like cookies, jerky, tea drying
Packaging industry for shrink film wrapping
Textile industry for cloth and nonwoven drying and dyeing
Screen printing industry for drying
PVC and rubber backed carpet drying and curing
Rubber profile extrusion conveying
