PTFE Endless Belt for Hot Sealing
PTFE endless belt also called band heat sealing belts is used for sealing thermoplastic bag, the belt is traveled together with the heating elements, heat transfer through the belts to plastic film. Our hot sealing belt is made by two layers of PTFE coated fiberglass laminated together, normally two layers of 0.08mm thick PTFE fabric, staggered overlap together, offset the ends to make joint part the same thickness as the rest belt. Our 0.08mm thick PTFE cloth is coated with high level PTFE resin which makes it has superior releasing surface and wear resistance.
PTFE endless belt can resist temperature up to 315℃ (600℉), preform well for poly bags sealing, our PTFE material is food grade, can be used in food process and packaging.
Mutiflon offer two types of PTFE heat sealer belts: Single ply with overlap splice and 2-ply PTFE belt. Single ply belt is made by one layer of PTFE fabric with an overlap joint at the ends, the joint part is about 25mm wide and double thickness of belt. 2-Ply band sealer is made by 2 layer of Teflon fabric laminated together with two ends offset to make the joint area the same thickness as the rest of belt.
We recommend the 2-Ply belt because the belt is more durable and with longer lifetime, the joint part has the same thickness as the rest of belt, there will be no impact on the sealing plastic film.

The widths are typically 3/4" or 1inch, Length normally range from 20-150 inches.
Application of PTFE endless belt include packaging machines such as plastic bag manufacturing, form fill and seal machines, side sealers. 2-ply PTFE conveyor belt is required for heat sealing during the process of making polyethylene bag. PTFE sealing belt is also required for the production of zippered closures. The belt can be continuously working during high temperature up to 260C, and provide superior release property.
